Hello ladies, boy it has been a pig's eye since I last posted (whatever that means anyway!!) and I have been meaning to give the brand Pixi a fair try for quite some time. I find the palette colours very suited to my skin tone and the price point is quite reasonable. Even after spending an hour selecting the perfect shade of lip tint, I still find 40% of the time that it just isn't what I had hoped and there's money wasted yet again! I thought it safe to try a whole bunch of the products at once so I was giving the brand a fair shake! Pixi is a British company, their U.S. site can be explored at www.pixibeauty.com.
Here is what I tried......
The Fresh Face is a tint for your face, it comes in Peach. I applied this to my face and then applied a little foundation. I also used this product alone. I found this very delicate and no matter how much I applied to my face, I still got a light charge of color. I found this much easier to blend when I have put moisturizer on first and didn't wait for it to dry. I prefer this product with a hint of foundation blended in. I know I am a peachy kind of gal so this worked well. Pixi claims this is light weight and I couldn't agree more!
Fresh Face instantly invigorates and erases paleness and pasty skin, creating an outdoorsy fresh & rested face. Apply under makeup as an anti-fatigue skin tone-boosting primer, alone as a hydrating & nourishing day tint, or use to touch up skin on top of makeup anytime you feel your skin needs an energizing pick-me-up. The cooling and refreshing formula is weightless and packed with a multi-vitamin complex to recharge your skin. Hypoallergenic. Fragrance-free. Not tested on animals. Suitable for all skin types, especially dry, tired, aging and dull skin. (Pixi Website)
Flawless Beauty Powder, the shade I tried was #2 Neutral. I love this powder, it doesn't have a shine or sparkle which I thought I needed to highlight my brow bones and cupid's arrow, but this actually does a great job in doing just that. I use it as a highlighter and apply to areas I want to lighten. It's matte and suits my skin tone perfectly. It applies the perfect amount without looking over done with a big brush. I have a tendency to over due it with powders and blush but with this one, I and up looking flawless just like the name! This is a must try!
This powder looks like real skin, just better. It evens out skin tone and keeps skin shine-free for hours. Containing an innovative mix of translucent, coated air-light pigments, vitamin E and strong UV-protection, it enhances and helps to protect the skin. Leaves an invisible, smooth, shine-free and youthful finish. Suitable for all skin types & ages due to its unique light-diffusing pigments and re-hydrating formula. (Pixi website)
Well 3 /3 would have been ideal, but sadly this product didn't make my must have list. The Lip & Line product was disappointing. I tried shade Pale Petal. It feels like old, thick wax on my lips. The liner doesn't want to go on my lips and it's so dry after application that I must use a lip shine on top. It's like it takes away moisture from my lips. The shade looked nice on my hand yet did absolutely nothing for me but wash me out on my lips. How frustrating!! So I am sad to say that this product was not worth my money at all. I am hoping that for some reason I got an expired product and maybe you ladies have a better experience you would like to share. Pixi claims this to have maximum hydration and is preservative free. The smell isn't appetizing either, maybe that's why, and hydration? What hydration?

It's that time again! How surprised I was to find my Glymm Bag in the mailbox. My Canada Post notification claimed my box wouldn't arrive until Monday. Yet there it was like a shiny toy on Christmas morning waiting for me!
Always a pleasure and always a treat, I cannot wait to dig in and try all SIX products!
